Co-op is an integral part of a Northeastern legal education, and the evaluations provided by co-op employers become part of the students’ official transcripts. Co-op supervisors will receive emails from our office at the mid-point of the co-op term, and again toward the end of the term, with a copy of the Co-op Evaluation Memo and a link to the online evaluation form for the student they are supervising. Samples of both are below.
Student-Developed Co-op Placements
In some cases, a students might accept a co-op internship with an organization that is not already a participating co-op employer. In such a case, the employer must submit a Co-op Placement Approval Form to our office before we can finalize the student’s placement and register them for the co-op. That form is available here: Placement Form.
