The Co-op and Career Development has outstanding resources for LLM students, including a dedicated LLM and international student career advisor Claire Lee with significant professional law experience who devotes time to prepare LLM students for co-op as well as post-graduate employment. Our comprehensive, year-long LLM Professional Development Program includes specialized coursework, hands-on workshops, individual advising appointments and a range of professional networking opportunities — plus the co-op experience itself! We help LLM students acquire the skills, qualifications and experience they need to reach their professional goals in the United States or abroad.
Each year, our LLM students achieve success in securing full-time co-op opportunities with private firms, government agencies, NGOs and corporate legal departments in practice areas as substantively diverse as international business law, human rights law, labor and employment law, immigration law, and intellectual property law. We look forward to working with you to accomplish your professional goals and are excited to see where you will go and all that you will accomplish!
