During the summer term, there are many funding opportunities for public interest co-ops/internships. Funding may be provided directly by the employer or by a third-party for work at a public interest organization or government agency. Students should search for paid or fellowship opportunities in Symplicity, psdj.org and the Arizona Handbook.

Below is a sample (not exhaustive) list of funding opportunities for public interest summer internships. Many of the fellowships and paid summer internships have not yet released information for 2022 applications, so please continue to check their websites for updates (links to the 2021 applications below are for informational purposes).

Students planning to co-op in the fall are permitted to apply for paid summer positions and fellowships and request a rotation switch if they receive a paid position/ fellowship.

Please contact Renay Frankel or Lisa Sears if you have any questions.
