June 8, 2022
12:45 pm - 2:00 pm

LLM Event: Learning About & Applying for Pro Bono Opportunities: Wednesday, June 8 , 12:45 p.m.-2:00 p.m. DK 240.

The American Bar Association (ABA) urges all lawyers “to provide legal services to those unable to pay.” This can be done through pro bono work. What is pro bono? What is behind the ABA goal for lawyers to volunteer at least 50 hours per year to “persons of limited means” or organizations that serve them? Join Maura Kelly to learn about pro bono, whether for admission to the New York State Bar or you want to make public service an integral part of your legal career.

The Center for Co-op and Career Development will provide lunch for this event. Please RSVP to Sophie Bergelson at s.bergelson@northeastern.edu.
